this is the philippines with the latest news in English and in Dutch.
1.impeachment against Coronna,S,C.president,chief justice of the Supreme Court of the PHL.Corronna is een nachtbenoeming van voormalig presidente Arroyo.Vlak voor ze aftrad benoemde ze hem.Hij licht nu onder vuur van The House and the Senate zal hem bevragen.Hij heeft praktich alle bezwaren tegen Arroyo weggeveegd in een VOTE binnen zijn team.
Erg opvallend,hij zegt dat het een teambesluit is.
16 januari begint de afzettingsprocedure,want zo mag je het wel noemen,in de Senate gaat het gebeuren,lekenrechters die een politieke uitspraak gaan doen.
2,dan hebben we de slogan van het M inisterie van TOURISM.:zie de foto.De secretary of Tourism is clear about it,the campain has just started this is a try out,hoopgevende reacties op TWITTER and Facebook.Sommige journalisten ( opiniemensen) van de STAR newspaper zijn door het dolle en zeker niet objectief:het is een gekaapte slogan zeggen ze,van Zwitserland,ik denk dan You donot understand ad people!and how can y compare Switersland and the PHL.Sure its more fun in the PHL than in SWitserland.opinion leaders are seldom objective ,after two sentences you know already there point of view!!
Some people like to attack our President NoyNoy.
As a marketing man and scientist i can tell you the slogan is very good and tells exactly how the philippines ( people)are: funny and flexible: the consumer hAS TO bE HAPPY ,AND HE IS!!!
3 .DE LANDSLIDES IN DIT LAND,VERSCHRIKKELIJK.38 DODEN IN EEN PLAATS IN MINDANAO.and the same number for missed persons.they are mining diggers ( for gold).
Wanneer gaat dit land wetsovertreders aanpakken?wanneer gaat dit land moordenaars oppakken en bestraffen? Nu al twee jaar geleden werden meer dan 50 mensen vermoord in Mindanao,waaronder veel journalisten.De Ampatuan clan zou de hoofdschuldige zijn.Nog steeds is er zelfs niet een hearing geweest met de hoofdverdachten.Ronduit een schandaal Mijnheer de President.
4.de euro zakt steeds verder weg,nu nog maar 55 pesos voor een euro, dat was drie jaren geleden 60 pesos en zelfs iets meer.In een dollar gaan 44 pesos,het is maar dat U het weet.
Toch denk ik dat de euro het gaat redden.The Euro will survive!!Even with Greece,Portugal,Ireland,Italy in a very serious debt sutuation.
Even with the veto of the P.M. of England.That guy is only thinking about the financial interests in his country.Many foreigners are working in financial institutions in London.they trade worldwide.PM protects them!.
5.weather: completely changed.Nowadays you cannot predict the weather,after El NiNo as they call this fenomenon.The summer should have started already in PHL,but still rainy season ,for at least one month.
6 boxing: US Meaweather will fight our Manny P.in may 2012.the fight of the champions.
7.the Azkalls,streetdogs are the national soccer team.they improve ,but still a long way to go.
The Koreans are far too strong for them.Azkalls need more training,practice with strong sparring partners.
is er sprake van minder corruptie in dit land? ik denk het wel,i think so,but a lot has still to be done.Justice shall be done,laten we hewt hopen,the Mindanao cas e duurt veel te lang.Weet U het grootste probleem bij de Filipinos is dat ze bij een goed idee elkaar gaan bevechten,want je zult het maar beter weten,zo schieten ze elkaar af.dat gebeurt op alle niveaus,evry level!!

PH READY FOR TSUNAMI, I DOUBT IT SERIOUSLY

hello friends,followers,writers,
i have written several items about Tsunami in japan,in my blog wim_waanders, this time i need to ask you:is the Philippines ready for a Tsunami and Earthquake ? my answer is clear, NO!
Not for a 7.2 Tsunami and Certainly not for a 8.9 Tsunami.
Why? Preparedness of the Philippines not sufficient,the management risk is too high,nobody wants to take responsibility,and if so No consequences for the guy,no court no punishment,on the contrary the guy will be offered soonest a nice other job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is no joke,this is the PH! example:Mr Santiago jr,the main responsable military during the Hostage taking in manila august last year,many SE asain peoples killed,he was guilty ,he belonged to NCRPO and now?he has been offered a high position in FNP, from army to police, CAN YOU IMAGAGINE?why should he do his job properly NOW!
He has proven to be a very low qualified manager, he ignored responsability,during the Hearing it became cristal clear!
so if you do nothing or y ignore signals,no problem you will be appointed the 5 th best position in the National Police organization.
furthermore:
Just now after the leakage nuclear problems in japan,a guy from the province says his province is still willing to built a nuclear plant.
Why not prepaired?
They take not serious the main architect Palafox,they say he is an Alarmnist,NO i say he is a realist but they donot want to hear it even in the Palace!
Chernobyl (Ukraine,1986) did we forget it?
The japanese learned from their history.

in the PH the Poli Technic University warns for nuclear fallout from Japan on the country PH, can y imagine? Dangerous play with words and false arguments dear management.

all studies about prepairdness in PH have proven we are not ready!!
we loose 1 million peoples at least in a Tsunami in Metro manila ,not yet for a 8.9 but only for a 7,2 magnitude quake.
we loose thousands of houses, 35 % of all buildings will be ruined,only one cathedral will survive,hehehehe
why: because the Bishop tells us!
double check structures and being alert, what a joke Bishop.
More seriously the national and local government have proven not be able to work together, see the Hostage taking in manila last year.
and do we have enough HELICOPTERS to evacuate many peoples after a Tsunami,forget it. we had not enough boats in Manila,we have not enough helicopters,we are not disciplined like Japan,we do not have efficient Fireworkers,no equipment,why not,CORRUPTION!!!!! and your work,your job,your money is more important then the national safety of PH>
The Generals are not interested in such a plan,they want US Dollars they want to play with lots and houses in America.
they take public money from pro curement deals.
The same for the Police,and i can go on!!
PH is not ready and not prepared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes this is the result of HOUSE deliberations and a firm stand of the liberal party in the philippines,just on the day of the international WOMENS points of view!!!!

corruptions is still a big problem here.The president Aquino, P Noy Noy,has kept his promiss: no corruption anymore allowed, and no acceptance of neclect of public responsablity and interest.the Money belongs to the public,the Filipinos, and not to the Generals and their housemads.
Not to the national Police, not to the public transport and houding dector.
NO to the public,the tax payer,the poor guy,there it belongs these millions of pesos!!

PH i hope y learn from these developments,try to follow the PRESIDENT!
Noy NOy just made a deal with President of Indonesia;oil support in these difficult period of African eruptions,Egypt,Libye,Bahrein,east region,and who will follow.................there are more Gadaffi":s and more Mubarak"s.

filipijns voetbal, 7,107 islands, leyte/samar

Een mooi land, de Filipijnen.Als je een folder van het land op de kop tikt lees je dat ze trots zijn op hun land:het is er ( heerlijk) warm en de mensen stralen warmte uit,het land kent vele natuurlijke wonderen en de geschiedenis van het land is erg kleurrijk.
Kort samengevat:quote:over a hundred ethnic groups, a mixture of foreign influences and a fusion of culture and arts have enhanced the uniqueness of theFilipino race and the wonder that is the Philippines.unquote.
In dat wonderlijke land had ik me niet kunnen voorstellen dat ze er voetbal spelen.Ik wist van honkbal,boksen en American football,maar niet van Filipijns voetbal (soccer).

Het nationale voetbal team heet AZKALS, coach is Simon McMenemy ( sinds 2010) en volgens deze coach zijn ze massive underdogs.Wat lezen we dan in de Philippine STAR: The "dog"days have begun. ( dec.17, 2010). Ze wisten te winnen van Vietnam, de kampioen van de Asian Cup. Van Indonesie werd nipt verloren. Dus gingen ze naar de President , Pnoy,voor een gesprek over meer steun voor voetbal ( betere stadions).Wisten zij veel dat voormalig President Mrs. Arroyo al aan Blatter had toegezegd meer te zullen doen voor het Filipijnse voetbal.Nou heeft Arroyo wel meer toegezegd zonder dat er ooit een budget beschikbaar werd gesteld.
Hoe dan ook,Filipijns soccer staat op de kaart!

We brachten ook een bezoek aan de eilanden Leyte en Samar, omdat daar mijn familie is geboren danwel woont of gewoond heeft.
Op Samar werd Leah P. geboren,op Leyte ( Tacloban) Lean P.

Wat een mooie eilanden,ver weg van de hectiek van Manila,gezonde natuur,weinig verkeerslawaai.
De bevolking is er puur,erg gastvrij en altijd die glimlach.Wel een relatief arme bevolking, op een aantal dorpen en steden na.

Leyte provinciehuis is erg mooi,ook het museum van Marcos echtgenote in Tacloban.
De baai van tacloban moet je gezien hebben vanaf een boot,Huur een vissersboot en ga er op uit.
Zo ontdekte ik dat de landingsbaan van Tacloban gelegen is tussen twee waters,en dus gevaar van overstroming.Ze zijn bezig met een herconstructie,een wal creeren tussen water en baan.
Volgens de burgemeester moet het een internationale luchthaven worden,zal nog wel even duren.

we blijven bij onze stelling dat de Filipijnen een mooi land is van meer dan 7000 eilanden.Voorts dat de" Dogs " dagen begonnen zijn in de voetbalwereld van de Filipijnen.dat ze er maar van genieten. Leve PNoy.

warm en chaotisch prettig in de filipijnen

prettig warm en chaotisch is het in mijn nieuwe vaderland, de Filipijnen.Ik woon hier nu bijna twee jaar met mijn Filipijnse echtgenote Leah P.Waanders.
Warm is het hier altijd,meestal prettig warm,soms regenachtig warm.
Chaotisch is het hier zeker,haast in elk opzicht.
Als je gewend bent aan orde en regelmaat, vergeet het dan maar.Je zult versteld staan van wat er hier allemaal kan en niet mag maar wel gebeurt.
De grootste chaos is het verkeer, vooral in de grotere steden.
Verkeersregels hoef je hier niet te leren,ze houden er zich niet aan.Je doet gewoon wat je ingegeven wordt,driedubbel rechts inhalen, het kan allemaal.
een overtreding wordt door het gezag niet bestraft, domweg omdat het gezag ontbreekt in het verkeer.In de kleinere steden heeft de burgemeester het meestal goed geregeld.Daar helpt de gemeenschap mee.
Is het nooit te warm,nartuurlijk wel,vooral in het zomerseizoen dat zo eind december begint.Het regenseizoen kan heel nat zijn met ook overstromingen en landverschuivingen.Vooral in de periode september-december is het dan raak.Cyclonen,tropische stormen,noem maar op.
Ook weet ik nooit wanneer het gaat regenen,kan zomaar gebeuren,kan ook zo weer ophouden na een hoosbui.
Heb je het naar je zin? jazeker,Filipijnen zijn zeer gastvrij,lachen altijd en de Filipijnse familie neemt je meteen op.Ondanks een permanent visum blijf je wel the foreigner,bemoei je dus niet met hun zaken,blijf vriendelijk.
Dus? blijven we hier wonen ondanks warmte en chaos en gebrek aan foreigner status.

the discussion between government and church on the reproductive health bill is going on.the philippines again is divided between lawmakers and church prelates( bishops and cardinals).The Church is using very strong words against P Aquino: they threat him with Ex-communication!! The Senators support Aquino, some House representatives support the Church.i quote a statement given by Frank Drilon,Senator and Chairman of the Senate Committee for Finance: quote: Senators yesterday deplored what they said is a “hysterical reaction“ of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) that threatened to excommunicate President Benigno S. Aquino III and other pro-reproductive health lawmakers for supporting the family planning measure.

Senators Franklin Drilon and Pilar Juliana “Pia“ Cayetano, in separate statements, rejected CBCP President Bishop Nereo Odchimar's warning branding his statements as “exceptionally uncalled for.“

“Threats and intimidation will not bring us to a rational conclusion on this controversy nor will they help solve the problems of the country,“ Drilon said who currently heads the Senate Committee on Finance.

“We lament and are saddened by the hysterical reaction of Bishop Odchimar,“ said Drilon.

The Philippines has a population of almost 95 million inhabitants,to be foreseen 105 million in 2015, the number of death babies/very young children and their mothers is extremely high,the number of abortions as well.The poverty in this country is extreme.The former Arroyo administration has done a lot for the rich peoples and for the infrastructure of the country esp.in areas were Arroyo lives or likes to come,mainly in Pampanga: highways,airport named after here father,a former President,Clark economic Zone,but she has almost forgotten to help the poor peoples structually.

Now the Aquino administration tries to help these families, by giving them support in their decisions to plan the number of children.

It remains to be seen if these peoples want to support their President, a real Peoples President,mainly based on the legacy of his mother the former President Corry Aquino,who died recently.This will be a test for the popularity of Aquino 3rd.( P NOYNOY).

AMPATUANS AND MASSACRE AND BIRTH CONTROL

Finally we will hear the truth about the Ampatuans,after we have read the daily newspapers of the philippines.
i quote:A member of the Ampatuan clan allegedly ordered the attack on the convoy of the Mangudadatu family three days before the carnage, a new witness in the “Maguindanao Massacre“ said Wednesday at the resumption of the hearing at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.

since a couple of monthes we did not hear so much,only that laywers of the Ampatuans did evrything to hinder the process/hearings.
The Ampatuans got privileged treatment in jail,giving them breakfast,they could receive guests,they were treated as guests of the jail,hehehe
Now the day of the truth has arrived.
The CASE is so heavy that the Governmental Judge in the chair is only concentrating on this case.
The big problem as i see it is the lack of sufficient protection for witnesses in PH>
They fear for their lifes evry day!!
Not only in this process also in the allegies in unofficial lotteries,the wistle blowers are in danger.The concerned law is not yet ready: shame you House and Senate of the Philippines.
In this country they say a lot of things,they make promisses,they agree to fulfill obligations,but in the end the people like to decide themselves what is good for them!
In the hostage taker case even policemen who were not even in uniform or protected ,with weapons etc.were fighting at the Stand where the bus was situated.
Strange country now and then.
Last development the discussion about the PH bill,the P NOYNOY is in favour of supporting the families concerning birth control.The family remains responsable,the government wants to help them to take a good decision.So no abortion policy nor a commercial approach,how many condoms per family,NO only supporting the PH families.
I agree.
In the process Ampatuans vs. victims of morders it remains to be seen who will win.It will take a long time befor any decision will be taken by the judge.

this part of a philstar article needs some explanation.The people in PH are waiting for a trial, a process against the Ampatuans,mainly against father (SR) and Junior Ampatuan.

the hearings and the collection of materials are still going on in Quezon City( Manila).

in the meantime the Ampatuans have hugh privileges in the prison(s).It is said they use frequently their celphones to give instructions.It is said they instructed people to murder witnesses.They are told to be said that they have enough money to pay all parties concerned!!The widness in this article is said to be a murderer himself, he shot down himself in the massacre.Just yesterday a NEW witness appeared on TV saying he is prepared to testify ,This witness is a friend of the Ampatuans,we see him on several occasions in the hospital room with Ampatuan sr.He will testify,he himself is informed about the intention of the Ampatuans to let him kill,because he knows too much!!His testimony will be crusial,unless he will be killed after his explanations on TV.The government needs to protect him.The afore mentioned murderer and witness who has been killed already did never get protection from manila.

The witness is fully aware of this situation.He will testify because wherever he is,they might kill him.Will he be protected ?and effectively? the future will tell us.Do not be surprised when he will be dead before the witness session is held.

We have a certain hope that with the new President legal procedures get more room and corruption will be excluded.

Remains to be seen if the corrupted people can be removed in time...............................from their key positions.

since last year,shortly the ampatuans massacre ( see my other articles),more and more people are killed in this country.they forget to punish and send them to jail.Under the Arroyo administration many cases remain unsolved.the Ampatuans ( jr. and sr,are constantly in the newspapers,the massacre is a fact,the solution is nowhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sr wants a better bedroom,better doctors and so on and so on.the massacre remains,unsolved.Arroyo is very good in proclaiming holidays ( far too much,very costly)but the Palace is hardly willing to bring justice in this country.Appointments are more important,decorations,highways.But no adequate judicial system.Nice,a new chairman of the S.C, but what can Corona do to solve the Ampatuans case soonest!!!!

“Bangit’s extremely close ties with Arroyo are readily apparent upon reviewing his profile as commanding general of the Philippine Army,” PBA said. With Edu Punay UNQUOTE.

there are many more but i intend to concentrate on the first two.
dear reader,follower or friend, first of all try to limit yourself in the number of hours you play these games.It is a fact that the games built up the nerviouslevels, the stress and the power to win,bwecause who does not want to win? and when y loose, sure y want to win as soon as possible after the failure.A second game effect is the wish to pay for energy,means you can go faster and up leveling when you buy energy.I personally do not buy energy,that is to easy,i hope we play without real credit card money.
The games are based on Health,Energy,Attack, Defence.you create SKILLS during the games and hopefully you have a lot of fun with your team mates or farmville friends.
Every day you can level up with 2 or 3 levels.Depending of the experience you built up.Your opponents will try to hinder you in this effort.They try to kill you ( for a while...)they take your papermoney etc.

The trial of Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr. of Datu Unsay ,Maguindanao,the principal accused in the November 23 2009 MAGUINDANAO MASSACRE ,will start on january 5,2010 at the Police Non-Commission Office Club in Camp Crame, Quezon City( PH).this trial needs to take place in full order and seriousness.
Some Ampatuans still stay in other jails in Cotabato City, in General Santos City, in Davao City.The Ampatuan SR.health situation is reasonable,he can be brought to a jail.He obviously wants to stay in Mindanao Province for safety reasons.But he must go to Manila, that is what the peoples want.President Arroyo wants the perpetrators of the Massacre convicted before she steps down in may 2010.But that can never be a reason.The President has always allowed private armies, esp. of the Ampatuans ,here allies,and she should just wait and see how the process takes place and how the public opinion will develop.She has no influence anymore.She is part of the problem!!
Justice must be impartially,fairly and as quickly as possible.Weapons should stay out of this process, also corruption and protection!!!!!

Marcos remains were brought back to the Philippines, sorry for using the name Ramos.

Mrs.Marcos, the lady welknown of here excentric number of shoes and jewelries, is still alive and restarted shortly here society live in Manila.Here son Marcos jr.is active in the Congress.

Mrs.Marcos has a Museum in Tacloban ,island Leyte,where here roots are.
see pictures.You are allowed , when y visit Tacloban city, to enter the Museum and to take pictures.No problem.Give them a little tip.The ball room is very beautiful as well as the long dinning tables and Delfts BLUE porcelain
The number of bedrooms for them and here children is impressive as well as the number of bathrooms they used.The Museum is almost a Castle.You will notice this inside.
When y take the plane from Manila or from Cebu y will get there in a couple of hours.Tacloban airport is consumer friendly, but not well equiped. Only one landing strip for in/out.
The peoples are very friendly and Tacloban is a nice city, more a big village with a nice harbour were you can take the boat( ferry) to Samar island or the bridge to Samar, but a buss trip is exhaustive and the drivers are and have to be real experts in avoiding bad road parts.It is like a Boom ng Boom in X-mas period.A trip to manila by buss will cost you one full day and a night at least.You need to have a strong stomach.next to Tacloban, nearer to the Airport is Brg.Bay Bay with a beautiful fish restaurant, ask the pedicab driver.When you go further the road down into the Brg. then you will see VICMAR resort to the right and to the left the sea and their restaurant.A Baptisma dinner you can take in the cabins( small open houses) in the restaurant area near to the sea ( where you can swim, private area.) A marriage party next to the sea is to be preferred.The Lapu-Lapu fish is excellent.( just book in advance, not a la carte).
In Tacloban you can take the trycycle or Spider( a small yellow half open-taxicab)
for a sight seeing tour and to visit the landings place of General Mc.Arthur ,the USA commander who defeated the Japanese on four different places with help of Philippines Forces.
Marcos wife Esmalda(?) did a lot for here city Tacloban ,the same as President Mrs.Arroyo is doing for 8 years already with Pampanga, examples are:Tarlac expressway, Clark airport and Clark Zone ( the former USA airport ),SM Mall Clark,New Expressway to northern Luzon, and so on.All economic infrastructure for wealthy peoples and for their cars or USA cars, not for the trycycle or pedycab man and not for the bycycle man or the walker.Walking in this country is really a death of alive matter.Nothing is done by here Government to help the poor who have to walk, and if you are lucky to get older than it is really a drama, you can hardly walk and no place for handicapped peoples.They better stay at home or die.
The differences between poor and rich are disgusting.
Only some Presidents helped these groups, the big majority did not.
By the way ,the belongings of the Marcos family are confiscated to the PH, so the Museum is state-owned,the jewelries and other valuable belongings are sold by the government .Several suitcases are still pending.Several belongings are abroad in Hawaii,USA and Unknown places.
Enough about the Marcos period.
No doubt his son will try to do good things in Congress.

the next episode in the history of the Philippines is the importance of PEOPLES POWER REVOLUTION, first written by Dr.JOSE Rizal, the national Hero of PH(picture) and applied by the peoples in 1986, somewere in 2001, 2009 and maybe in 2010 again....
Marcos has been forced by the Movement to step down and to go abroad.
But only after a serious battle with the PH peoples.
He was finally replaced by the wife of the assassinated Senator Benigno Aquino,Mrs.Corazon C.Aquino, Corry.
But only with help of the peoples, the defense minister, Vice Chief of Staff.febr 22, 1986.
on febr 23 many philippinos came together in Manila in EDSA and formed human barricades.on febr.26 Marcos left PH to go to Hawaii.
Corry issued Proclamation no.3 which embodies the Freedom Constitution, and in 1987 the Constitution was ratified.Two times the Forces coupe attempted to get rid of the President.In 1991 the Ph did not longer accept the extension of stay of the usa bases.
In 1990 Luzon was hit by an earthcake and one year later the Mountain Pinatubo errupted, and in1992 Fidel Ramos and Estrada were appointed P and VP.
Ramos remains were laid to rest in Batac, Ilocos Norte.
In 1998 the peoples elected by popular votes Estrada (P) and Arroyo (VP).In 2000 Estrada was impeached and again a peoples power2 revolution took place.Coming from EDSA shrine (Rizal)50,000 protesters went to the Palace to force Estrada to resign.
In 2001 Arroyo became the 14th President.In 2004 she started here second term.
So 14 Presidents !!During the PGMA PRESIDENCY she became less and less popular, now 61 % of the peoples do trust here not anymore.She is corrupt,she enriched here own family,she promissed to not be reelected in 2004 and she changed here mind just before the election.She supports private armed forces to protect family clans in Mindanao and elswere.She tries to stay in power in 2010 as a Governer and House speaker and she would like to be Prime Minister of a Parliamentary system.Therefore she visited almost every month here congressional seat province Pampanga and in between she spend much PH money abroad with here allies from PH.
She is an Economist by profession, but not really agriculturally interested and not a Climate expert.She is known to be paying here allies with government money.
She will be elected,here popular vote is high, when you pay the peoples.Again I want to be as neutral as possible but i cannot change the reality.In 2009 many peoples say farewell to Corry.

Nevertheless we have to love this country, it is beautiful and the everlasting smile and hospitality is excellent.

the MARCOS episode we will never forget, nowadays his son is back in political scene, and regularly on TV channel(s).
Also Estrada's son is in Senate prominently.

On nov 9, 1965 Ferdinand E.Marcos was elected as the six PRESIDENT of the Third Philippine republic.
In the meantime during a summit in MANILA PH, the creation of ASEAN became a fact!ASEAN you could compare with the European Council in Europe, although the European one is more based on international Law than the ASEAN one and has more european( means law above the States) powers,they do have a European President and a European Foreign Minister( Representative),and a powerful European Commission in Brussels with own Powers and a European Parliament.Anyway you will appreciate it yourself.
1968 the foundation of the New Communist Party of the Philippines.
1969:Marcos reelected.
1971:New Constitution !!
1972, sept.21: PRES. MARCOS ISSUED PROCLAMATION 1081 PLACING THE COUNTRY UNDER MARTIAL LAW.
Assassination attempt against Defense Minister :he survived.
Meaning of Law: CONGRESS abolished and creation of semi parliament BATASANG PAMBANSA .
In 1981 the imposition of Martial Law was lifted by the President, so 1972--1981 period was a real dictatorship period.
All efforts to limit the strenghs of Marcos failed.He just killed his opponents.( in other words....)
Example: former Senator Benigno Aquino jr. was assassinated at the MANILA international airport upon his return to the PH after three years of self-exile in the USA.
The funeral procession was joined by more than 2 million peoples.The same impressive figures we have seen recently with the dead of his wife Cory Aquino ( the former President).
Then an impressive Peoples Movement started to get rid of Marcos.

Villar and his as they say in Manila prostitute girl for VP.he is very rich man.

Theodoro,supported by Arroyo team,he is excellent manager

Estrada,the former President and actor of second class movies.

Two of them are definitally supporting the Poor peoples ( Gordon as well, no chances)

they are Ninoy and Estrada ( sometimes anyway)

Sorry i have to be a-political, but i am a bit scinical.

The high corruption levels in this country and the power of far rich peoples /family clans in this country can be a burden and or a hindrance for pure elections.

Together with the private armies of several Clan families around the country, not only in Mindanao, this makes the political scene not very transparent.

Anyway,let us be optimistic.

Part 10 concerns the JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF Philippines territory from december 8, 1941 to august 17, 1945.
The Japanese bombed several places in PH, mainly in Davao city, Baguio, Aparri, Iba, Tarlac, simultaneously , four hours after their attack on Pearl Harbor.
Louis Taruc established the Hukbalahap, the strongest guerilla group unit in Central Luzon, Taruc being the leader of the Communist Party in the PH.
Bataan fell, we discussed more often in this blog, Corregidor island was the last bastion of PH and USA forces.Gen.Masaharu Homma took over the command and he is chief of the Japanese imperial forces.In 1943 the Japanese sponsored the Philipino Republic, Jose Laurel is President.
In 1944 it was General McArthur himself who attacked the Japanese on four different places in PH,together with support of Osmena( President),Romulo ( General),and others.see the picture of the landing in Leyte island,Tacloban in 1944, october 20.( Palo Leyte).october 24-26 big battle between Japanese and PH/USA forces.
In Leyte Gulf, in Surigao street, off Samar, and off Cape Engado.
Finally in 1945, august 15, Japan surrendered unconditionally after two ATOMIC BOMBS on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.Sept 2 1945 WW2 in the Pacific ended.( surrender of Japan on board of USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay).
Then the Post World War2 period could start, finally after many occupations and a lot of dead peoples from several nationalities.
Parity rights were fixed between USA and Philippines.USA has the right to dispose, of exploit, develop, and utilize Philippine''s natural resources.( 1946).
juli 4 1946: INDEPENDENCE of the PH
President Manuel Roxas, the first President of the Third PH Republic.Roxas is family of Mar Roxas( and Korina), who is the 2010 runner for election of vice President, next to President to be elected Ninoy Aquino,of the Liberal Party PH,mar is very popular,he is senator second Term,got 20 million votes last time!!,and Ninoy and Mar are ahead in the Polls for Elections may 2010.
In 1947 it was decided that the Americans were allowed to continue the military bases and stations for 99 years.( untill 2046).So the Subic naval area and the Clark Zone/airbase near to Angeles City in Luzon island remain important to the USA.( Pampanga province).
The more they have arrangements for southern islands of PH, mainly in Mindanao island, to be able to fight against the enemy of the PH.
1948: outlaw of the Hukbalahap.
april 15, 1948 Roxas died
Quirino new President.
1953:election of President and vice P,
Magsaysay P and Garcia VP, National.Party.
1954: finally the Taruc agreement was cancelled through intervention of Aquino sr.
South East Asia treaty Organization =seato, organished and established,to hinder communism in the area.
1957: the president killed in an airplane accident in Cebu island. Garcia succeeded him.
1961:again another President, this time the Macapagal, first name Diosdado.
Independence day switched to june 12 !!

This ended the post WW2 period.

1898: the start:defeat of Spain.
THEN THE USA INSTALLED THEIR POLITICAL SYSTEM , A REPUBLIC WITH A President,a Congress,House and Senate.
they introduced american words,american roads,american food,american Jeeps and they supported the PH government in Mindanao, in Luzon in the ports and in the airports.
PH Independence in june 12, 1898.
1907 the first PH assembly with Osmena and Quezon.1913 the first Democratic Governor-General was appointed:FR.Burton Harrison.The Jones Law and Legislative power for Filipinos.
the First PH President elected in nov 15,1935.In 1941 the world changed because of an immense WW 2.Japanese invasionary forces bombed several places, General Mc Arthur declared Manila an Open City,nevertheless it was bombed.Bataan fell in 1944 MacArthur landed in Leyte,battle in three places,finally Japan surrendered unconditionally.After singing the surrender document the basis was led for the Post War Period of the Philippines.1946--1964.
The contemporary history starts somewhere in 1965 with the election of Ferdinand E.Marcos,the six President of the Third Philippine Republic.Tomorrow it is RIZAL day, december 2009, a national holiday in the PH.Rizal is the ch.Dikkens of the Philippines i tend to say.More about these developments next time.

this time ,dear reader, writer and follower we will talk about the American episode in PH history.The USA helped the Philippines to gain the battle against the Spanish.In return they asked for participation in the country.In fact the USA became the new power,mainly in Luzon y will notice their presence, is it in Clark Zone and Clark airport ( base) and in the naval base.Is it in the governmental system and in the political system,the House and Senate, the Congress.The presidential organization,a republic.Even some cities are USA influenced, like Angeles City where many Americans do live in bungalows and in House(lot)areas with a lot of security.
Then the language of the Filipinos, they speak American or English or a mixture of Tagalog ( Filipino)and American language with special pronouncement of USA words.

The behavior in public traffic is totally different, the American is disciplined, the Filipino is chaotic.

The USA helped the Philippines in the battle of Bataan against the Japanese,the death march, in the southern islands against infiltrations of peoples and churches.

Sometimes this goes to far.If an American soldier has raped a Philippine woman, then he is sentenced, but goes into an American jail or house/embassy and not in the Manila jail.

General Mc.Arthur has done a lot for this country. I explained this before and i added a picture of the General.( Leyte,Tacloban).

The education is USA based.English is language to be learned.I am no expert in this area, so i leave it here.

51 still missing in ferry sinking PH; responsabilities?

Yesterday 6 persons were declared dead, 51 missing, 69 survived the tradegy with the vessel, bringing the total number of passengers on 126.The discrepancy in the passenger manifest has been explaned, the MOSD showed only 20 passengers, later a second list with 47 peoples, the socalled supplemental passengers list, and 41 classified as passengers not included in the manifest.whatever no overload could be registered, because the capacity is 284 allowable total capacity.Funny enough i count 127 persons now.The other ferry going from Calapan ( Mindoro) to Batangas had 87 pessengers and 14 crew members,=101
Who is responsable?
the ships owner? the government?the Naval authorities,the coast Guard PCGA, maritime authorities,Industry authority?
The House and Senate for not approving the Philippine Maritime Code? and the Commision?The Coast Guard which has no authority to enforce safety rules?and Regulations ?
(Senate Bill 3389) The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee will meet tooday in a hearing session.Did the crew follow the maritime rules?Human error or overloading in one ship?
According to the Red Cross The Philippines is the fourth most accident -prone country in the world. ( with inter island traffic between 7107 islands,...........................)
Other causes are crew-members not qualified, too young or to old, exhaustive working hours,etc.
Another solution:put the country's air and sea defence systems at par with other neighbouring States.A President who presses anew for deregulation of shipping industry ( in a less developed country.........),i personally think that politics and pressure groups will hinder a quick solution.

We need a strong independent President in election-may 2010 period.But even he or she has to cooperate with House and Senate.

dutchman hero on flight a'dam-detroit

a Dutchman has been the hero on flight NWA Amsterdam to Detroit.He pushed himself through other passengers and jumped onto the Nigerian guy,who was already on fire.He succeeded to stop the fire on the body of the Nigerian and undressed him for eventual more fire sources.he got him on the floor and delivered the guy to the USA police at arrival on Detroit airport.More details on Facebook.com and on Hypes.nl
Remains the question, why is this guy not expelled from the boarding lists worldwide after his father had warned the USA Embassy in Lagos for the behaviour of his son.The guy was supported by a gentleman in excellent dressing, so the Nigerian could remain low profile in Lagos, Amsterdam airport Schiphol and boarding on the airplane.

again a terror attack ? disruptive passenger in airplane going from Amsterdam to Detroit.

the USA authorities have declared Emergency!
Personally i belief this is a over-reaction of the USA airport authorities.
Do not go to the mens- room on board.if you stay there more than 2 min you are suspect!
as far as the first incident is concerned the USA authorities did know about the passenger!!! His father warned them about the behaviour of his son!!

again a catastrophe in PH:
two inter-island ferries sank within one week in December 2009.
we are still waiting for the volcano eruption Mayon and we are confronted with two sunk ferries,the one being hit by a metal fishing boat.the other one just sunk near to Verde island,one of the 7,107 islands !!!!!!of the PH.
And always the authorities do not know the number of passengers on board!!!!officially 26 and in reality maybe 100!!!!!!

Jose Rizal the national hero,was born in Calamba,Laguna,1861. heavy fights were taking place with the Spanish army.The newspaper la Solidaridad became the famous organ of the Propaganda Movement.Rizal wrote his novel El Filibusterismo in Gent BE,and he founded La Liga Filipina in Tondo,Manila,In 1892 he was exciled and sent to Fort Santiago.He was executed in 1896.( the Rizal Park).In the famous battle of Manila bay the American naval fleet destroyed the Spanish flotilla.( 1898).the philippines are independent since 1898.( General Aguinaldo).
In 1941 the Japanese invasionary forces bombed several places,just after the attack on pearl harbor.In 1942 Bataan fell and many soldiers had to march to their death from Bataan to San Fernando,Pampanga,a province N. from manila.( the socalled Death March of 78,000 defenders.)This distance going by bus is almost 2 hours!!In 1944 macArthur in the battle of Leyte gulf,the greatest naval battle in history ,fought in three places ,resulted in capitulation of Japan(1945),mainly after the bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.
the fourth period is the Post World WarII .
First President Roxas,of the 3rd Republic,then in 1965 Marcos with his martial Law and peoples power movement,followed by Mrs.Aquino,who's husband was executed by Marcos peoples and finally in 2002-2010 Mrs Arroyo.( Mr.Aquino's name is given to the international airport of manila,the place were he was executed.)

If you start looking on Wikipedia or on Wikiphilipino, then you ,dear friend,follower and writer,will notice that this beautiful country in the tropical zone with 7,107 islands and as many historical events as the number of islands,is worth to be studied.The peoples are very friendly, always laughing, very helpful and religious.From the Roman Catholics until the Moslims in the Southern Province of Mindanao,with Maguindanao and Sulu the Moslims Sultans areas/provinces since centuries.
in the history of the philippines you will read about the fifth republic ,reason the country has been occupied by Spanish recovery people, by North American people and by the Japanese occupying forces.Three times (before) the philippinos tried to establish a Republic.
Important names and events in this respect are:
Maghalhan,the Portugese recovery person,see picture,the Wall Intramuros in Manila,occupied territory by Spanish people,and the Bataan death march,wereby many soldiers during W.W.II died ( american and philippinos)through Japanese occupation.The Bataan battle:the big white Monumental Cross in the mountains near Bataan is a prove of this event.
The seat of the President or Governer has not ever been in Manila,in the Palace of nowadays President Mrs.Arroyo (P.M.G.A.).Before the seat was in Cebu,Vysayas,in Bulacan,Central Luzon,and so on.

Trappist Monks live around the world in silent communities,outside the cities in rural or hillery areas.they own their acres for cattle,crop,vegetables,trees,fish,breweries,breadfactories.They try to earn more than the costs of their undertakings.

The communities consist of 17 to 35 men,Monks and candidates.It takes several years before you are accepted,the entryfees so to say are high.You need to give yourself 100% to God,in a celibate relationship.Details can be found i part 1 and 2. A more scientific approach can be found in- The Cisterciencers -book.(Cistercian Order). Saint Bernard of Clairvaux,1090-1153, Thomas Menton, 1915-1968, Saint Benedict,founder of the Western Monasticism, 480- 547 AD , and the socalled Desert Fathers,somewhere in between 251 - 356, have contributed to the Monk/Monasteryo Rules and Laws.

Other contributions came from The AssumptionAbbey.org, Ava,Missouri,USA,more esp.for the Asian monks.

The Rule of Benedict underlines the Monks deep desire to seek God in the community life of a monastery.

Clairvaux,i the 11th and 12 th centuries, developed the Cistercian Order into a Trappist Order in the 17th century.it is highly recommended to study these writers.

The beer is from the Dutch Abbey,the only Dutch Trappist brewery since 1884.

The other beer is introduced on the occasion of 125 years celebration(2009),

and has been given the name of the first brewer who learned the brewing process in W.Germany.(Europe).

The Guimaras based PH Abbey is the only men's monastery of the Order in the Philippines,the nuns are on the island of Midanao.
you can visit the Abbey when y take a plane or boat to Iloilo ( see map).(Panay).the island Guimaras is located in the Sulu sea,in between Panay and Negros islands.The next airport is Cebu.You need several transportations:jeeps,trycycles,boat.

trappist monks and trappistine nuns belong to the monastic family following Christ according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.They have the deep desire to seek God in the community life of a monastery.There way of life:austerity,sincerity,silence,chastity(celibate life-style).The Trappist nickname is from a reform movement in France,17th century.The official name is Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance(O.C.S.O.). Bernard of Clervaux developed the Order.The other important contributor is Thomas Merton,1915-1968)from the Abbey of Our Lady of Gethsemani,Kentucky,USA.

I said before,the atmosphere is silence,speaking is allowed :functional,spiritual,spontaneous during special occasions.The spirit of Christ calls the monks to a life of simplicity,hiddenness,work,prayer,service,hospitality.

therefore you will find them outside the city in rural areas to make an income.

tooday i am not sure what to tackle, is it the manny pakman boxing fight at Las Vegas,against a guy from puerto rico, or is it the alarm phase 1 in my home country for influenza H1N1 virus or is it the weight control problem of my ex-hot-girl the photografer,she is peeing and pooing but is above weight.
Manny will no doubt box a heroic fight sundaymorning local time PH, and nobody is hesitating about the outcome,even Secr.Hillary Clinton is convinced,Pakman will win.
The fight against the virus is more uncertain,people are panicking,younger people die.
If you donot have a lung problem a doctor said then do not panic.If it were that easy.The soccer players and football Association fear for competition falsification,who got the injection and who got not.

CHRISTMAS eve 2009: 43 days to GO!!

I am looking forward to X-MAS 2009, only 43 days to go. In the Philippines they donot celebrate santa clause on dec 6, so already beginning november the X-mas songs and articles can be heard and seen.It is the start of a colourful period,in the shops,on the streets and on TV.

I like X-mas,families are getting happier, they expect presents,they decorate rooms,staircases,gates and even their houses outside.Big or small Trees are bought or taken.

And no doubt a period of praying,asking for blessings.please God bless our families,bless our country.Lucky enough we are very serious in visiting the churches,attending the Holy Mass,asking for devotions.

We are prepairing presents for the family,for the parents,for lolo ad lola,for sisters and brothers.Sure they expect us to bring a small Tree with coloured balls.

You ask me what we eat and drink? In pricipal the same as with All Saints day.And drinks,we like to drink,cold water,red wine,beer,red horse San Miguel beer,Vodka(bar),coke,ice- tea,normally we like to mix many drinks ,adding water is not expensive.........

whatever,i know for sure that the girls in the philippines are BEAUTIFUL,why, because of their smiles,their beautiful skins,their black long hairs,their black or brown eyes,the way they pronounciate the english words,the way they walk,their traditional attention for their families and friends, and their fundametal belief in the philippines.This altogether is BEAUTIFUL!

although no serious damage we show you peoples looking for food waiting in the water for their help:rice,noudles,water,salt,medicins.

the waiting rows in Manila area are much longer, do not underestimate the time y have to wait staying in water.............dirty water with carbages,animal affalls,urines etc.

the number of LEPTO patients is growing(see my other posts).

All SOULS DAY in the philippines is very special.Many families have decorated a table with food for ALL SOULS day.The food is not only eatable,also sigarettes and coffee.

Than after the visit to the semetery,families come and visit your house,to pray for the SOULS of relatives.This means all SOULS will be mentioned and the food will be offered to those beloved family members.This is an impressive moment of silence,whereby all participants listen and pray for their SOULS.

Many times you see lolo nocking on a plate with his spoon asking for attention of the SOULS.

Lola,or a anti is praying.

this is a wonderfull tradition in this country.I ad a photo of the SOULS table with food and candles.

we can show to y the pics from the satelite,we did see damages on the ground ,also in Manila again.I Pampanga we got some haivy rain,friday evening,friday night and saturday.We could not visit the Balibago Angeles festival in Province Pampaga.

Anyway GOD saved the PH.Thank y so much,also because All Saints day and All Soulsday are coming, meaning we will visit the cemetery,pray,drink and eat.And we prepair food for our visitors who need it.

this is it ! tooday we saw the movie,Michael Jackson Company,an excellent documentary.

He was a real perfectionist,great dancer,and he inspired his co director Kenny Ortega and his Musical Director.he says:it has to be funkier, the toetsi follows the rith......

His final words: love and save the planet.

The movie he dedicated to his children.

The documentary was originally scheduled for concerts ( O2 arena London).

The artists rehearsals( from april-june 2009)were collected for 111 minutes movie.

two final remarks:hopefully he gets the entertainer of the Year award nov.3,2009 and people are right when saying: he is a great singer,dancer,filmmaker,architect,creative genius!

STORM TO HIT PH LUZON ON FRIDAY,saint@soul

I was still dreaming about EX GirL and here TAToO wedding couple.

Then Pagasa, the PH forecasters say a storm,maybe a Typhoon will make landfall in Luzon on friday.

There goes my relax period full of thoughts about a wedding were the photografer would be my EX HOT GIRL,wahhhh,One good message anyway,she will come to PH when my wife has a TATOO!

And she leaves us free to decide the ultimate spot of that Tatoo.

I show you here body, one day.if she agrees...,and we wait for your suggestions.

The typhoon is called MIRINAE, international CODE NAME,and the PH name is SANTI.

Filipinos go to ALL-Saints day by tradition,which means hugh travelling on friday,saterday and sunday.

They visit the cemeteries during these days or on monday, ALL SOULS DAY.

The PH goverment is concerned about these moves during these 4 days.

Cemeteries will be overcrowded,peoples stay there overnight,they pray,sing,burn candles,and eat and drink.(i was told).

Several Cemeteries are still to be rebuilt after the Typhoons disasters.

Busses to the home towns and local regions will be overcrowded.

By passengers and by hugh boxes and whatever package materials.Normally this gives delays.

We go to the province as well,my mother i.law expects us soon,i say to my wife first i want to see the developments of Santi,where,what speed,how much wind.I still see the TV Typhoon impressions.It will cross Central Luzon,Pampanga,Bataan,Manila bay(is my personal guess).

Sunday it will leave the country again,if high pressure areas will not hinder that direction.

hello friends,

locally named RAMIL,internationally designated LUPIT,is a Typhoon which is they say a very strong one,compared to Ketsana and Parma.

The authorities learned from this and decided:to open the dams earlier,to evacuate people from Luzon areas ,to keep available canned food,rescue boats,helicopters standby,sanitary measures to avoid diseases.Waterflood causes water puddles for denque disease,floodwater causes Lepto,(anyone who wades in contaminated floodwater),and A(H1N1)influeza( see my articles in Friendster.com).i n crowded areas.

Ramil hits the region on friday or earlier.From the 1,000 dead last period, the 138 dead from diseases i n Manila are stricking,more than 1836 cases,more to come.D.O.H.is very concerned.

Furthermore the SAT images forecasted on wednesday.

Max. sustained winds of 175 Kph and gustiness of up to 210 Kph.

there is a story about a country hit by typhoons every year.This year 2009 is my first experience with Typhoons.

In The Philippines,a country with 90 million peoples.many of them are poor,and live in very poor circumstances,near the water,i n the mountains,in houses made of forest materials,no bricks at all.Floodwater and landslides are devastating.houses destroyed.evacuation centers filled with peoples.More water due to damm release,under the critical limits.Water plenty,not for drinking,danger of disease,Lepto from animals,already 104 deadth.1000 +ill.

Storm,rain,thunder,mudd,wind,landslides,no drinking water,no electricity,knee high water at home,flood around the house,go to second floor=roof,sleep hardly because of muscitos ad rats.

temp.20 to 25 degrees C.rain means no internet connection,no radio,no tv signal.Typhoon means WHP support,food and vitamins parcels,distributed by airplanes.(From Turkey,USA ad PHIL).

Typhoon means dead,disease outbreak,evacuations,some figures:

Typhoon Lupit is approaching with 195 kilometers an hour,120 miles and will be in N.Luzon on thursday,means wednesday heavy rain in whole LUZON,from Manila to North Luzon.

I learn to live with Typhoons,you cannot miss them,the whole country can be hit,from S.E to N.E.and on land to N.W.and back to S.W.it can hit you.

question: the international artist named LADYGAGA is a good singer and dancer and piano player and theater actor,but is ladygaga a lady or a gentleman?

why do we want to know this?

it can explain why here voice is very special,why here acting is so bi-sexual,why she is exposing here body in an exceptional way.it can explain here ability and exposure to be as nude as possible.The number of photos we have seen from ladygaga is very impressive,the pics are extravaganza.You can easely find here almost nude pics in mf weekly.

AT LEAST 540 PEOPLE FROM THE PHILIPPINES ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF THE TYPHOONS IN MANILA CAPITAL AND SURROUNDING AREAS, Ketsana,AND IN LUZON,MAINLY NORTHERN LUZON.(north philippines).(Pepeng).

THE NUMBER OF DEADTH IN NORTH PH IS BIG,AT THIS MOMENT ALREADY 188 BECAUSE OF PEPENG ( officially Parma)TYPHOON,EVEN TWICE,BECAUSE OF ITS TWIN TYPHOON QUEDAN,OFFICIALLY CALLED MELOR ,which caused Pepeng to return to the philippines.Since october 4 this typhoon hangs above PH.

MANY LANDSLIDES HAVE RESULTED IN 188 DEATHS, AND MOST PROBABLY MORE.

hello friends,

yes i am concerned about my second homecountry,the philippines.
this country is hit a hundred times every year by rain and wind,call it typhoons or tropical cyclones.
f.e.;in the year 2006 the reming=name for typhoon,caused 734 dead in this country.reming was a super typhoon,with exceptional wind and rainfall.
this year we are hit by ketsana cyclone last week and today by pepeng( official name parma).to give you an idea:
ketsana:2,2 million people affected by the thyphoon.288 to 293 people dead/killed.800,000 plus in schools and gym and theaters and even in the palace of mrs.aroyo.
900 us troops and heavy equipment, 1,8 million need urgent help.
pepeng results will be known soon.
