the history of the philippines, part 1

this post of quillaume202blog concerns the history of the philippines.
If you start looking on Wikipedia or on Wikiphilipino, then you ,dear friend, follower and writer, will notice that this beautiful country in the tropical zone with 7,107 islands and as many historical events as the number of islands,is worth to be studied. The peoples are very friendly, always laughing, very helpful and religious. From the Roman Catholics until the Moslims in the Southern Province of Mindanao, with Maguindanao and Sulu the Moslims Sultans areas/provinces since centuries.
in the history of the philippines you will read about the fifth republic ,reason the country has been occupied by Spanish recovery people, by North American people and by the Japanese occupying forces.Three times (before) the philippinos tried to establish a Republic.
Important names and events in this respect are:
Maghalhan, the Portugese recovery person, see picture, the Wall Intramuros in Manila, occupied territory by Spanish people, and the Bataan death march, wereby many soldiers during W.W.II died ( american and philippinos)through Japanese occupation. The Bataan battle:the big white Monumental Cross in the mountains near Bataan is a prove of this event.
The seat of the President or Governer has not ever been in Manila,in the Palace of nowadays President Mrs.Arroyo (P.M.G.A.).Before the seat was in Cebu,Vysayas,in Bulacan,Central Luzon, and so on.
We hope our readers will visit the philippines one day.
