TRAPPIST MONKS,in NL and PH, part 2

The Guimaras based PH Abbey is the only men's monastery of the Order in the Philippines,the nuns are on the island of Midanao.
you can visit the Abbey when y take a plane or boat to Iloilo ( see map).(Panay).the island Guimaras is located in the Sulu sea,in between Panay and Negros islands.The next airport is Cebu.You need several transportations:jeeps,trycycles,boat.

The Dutch based Trappist Abbey Towers have formed a significant element in the landscape east of the city Tilburg for more than a century.More monasteries are located in Echt,Tegelen,Diepenveen,Zundert.It exist 100 houses of Monks O.C.S.O. of which 50% in Europe.OCSO is now faster growing in Asia,Africa,Latin America .

if you are interested to visit an Abbey , donot hesitate,you can taste the beer,you can stay there within the spirit of the House,you can even apply for a function,a monk maybe?or a nun?
It is not easy,i tell you,but it gives so much satisfaction and spirit.And Saint Benedict is watching you!
